31st December:
Lewis: 2 Goosanders (male and a female) were on Loch Soval.
North Uist: 4 Pink-footed Geese and 2 Fieldfare were on Baleshare.
30th December:
Lewis: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was at the Butt this evening. An immature Iceland Gull was at Reef beach, Valtos.
North Uist: 53 Common Scoters were off the west side of Berneray and 9 Pink-footed Geese were at Rushgarry.
Barra: A Little Auk was off Vatersay.
29th December:
North Uist: A Chiffchaff was at Scotvein, Grimsay today.
Benbecula: The female Ring-necked Duck was at Coot Loch. A Pink-footed Goose was at Aird.
28th December:
North Uist: 25 Snow Buntings were along the shore at Knockintorran. A Taiga Bean Goose and a Greenland White-fronted Goose were by Loch Sandary. A Pink-footed Goose was on the machair at Paiblesgarry.
Barra: The female / juvenile Surf Scoter was off Ardmhor.
Marine Sightings: 4, possibly 5 Ocras were seen heading south off Brevig, Barra this afternoon.
27th December:
South Uist: A female Common Scoter was off Mol Mor / North Bay and another was off Balgarva.

26th December:
Lewis: 6 Waxwings were in Perceval Road, Stornoway this morning before flying off to the south. The Ring-necked Duck was on Loch Tiumpan.
25th December:
North Uist: 3 Pink-footed Geese were on Baleshare.

24th December:
Barra: The juvenile Surf Scoter was off Ardmhor again today.
Insects: A Dotted Border moth was found in South Glendale this morning.
22nd December:
Lewis: 2 Snow Buntings were at South Galson.
Marine Sightings: 10 White-beaked Dolphins were off Port of Ness.
21st December:
Lewis: A juvenile Iceland Gull was at the Butt.
20th December:
Lewis: 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 4 Manx Shearwaters were feeding off the Butt this morning.
19th December:
Benbecula: The Little Egret was at Coot Loch and 2 Pink-footed Geese were nearby at Torlum.
South Uist: 4 Little Auks, 3 Great Northern Divers, 19 Red-throated Divers, 17 Gannets and 62 Kittiwakes flew south at Ardvule this morning. A Long-tailed Tit was at Carnan.
18th December:
Insects: A Winter Moth was seen in South Glendale last night.
17th December:
Lewis: A Sooty Shearwater was off Port of Ness. 2 Taiga Bean Geese were at the southern end of Loch Stiapabhat.
Benbecula: The Little Egret was at Coot Loch.
16th December:
Benbecula: A Little Egret was on Coot Loch.
South Uist: 4 Snow Buntings were at North Bay / Mol Mor. 107 Greenland White-fronted Geese were on Kilaulay machair.
15th December:
Lewis: A Sooty Shearwaters was seen from Port of Ness.
South Uist: A 2nd winter Glaucous Gull was at Kildonan.
Marine Sightings: 4 White-beaked Dolphins were off Port of Ness.

12th December:
North Uist: 9 Long-tailed Tits and a Jack Snipe were in Carinish today.
Benbecula: The female Ring-necked Duck and 2 Little Egrets were at Coot Loch.
Barra: 6 Snow Buntings were along the shore at Eoligarry.
11th December:
Barra: A Little Auk was seen at Borve.
10th December:
North Uist: A female Ring-necked Duck was on Loch na Faoileige, Carnach.
South Uist: 3 Little Auks flew south past Ardvule this morning. A Little Egret was near Hebridean Jewellery.
Barra: The Green-winged Teal was at Ardmhor.
9th December:
North Uist: 7 Long-tailed Tits were in Carinish.
8th December:
North Uist: A Green-winged Teal and 2 drake Pintail were on Loch nam Feithean.
Benbecula: The female Ring-necked Duck and a Glaucous Gull were seen at Coot Loch. 2 Common Scoters were off Stinky Bay.
South Uist: 55 Snow Buntings were at Balgarva.
7th December:
North Uist: A Chiffchaff was in Claddach Kirkibost today.
Marine Sightings: 6 or 7 Orcas were 3 km north-east of the Butt this morning.
6th December:
Lewis: A Little Auk flew east at the Butt this morning.
North Uist: 13 Common Scoters were off the west beach at Berneray.
Barra: The Surf Scoter was off Eoligarry again today.
5th December:
Benbecula: A Long-tailed Tit was seen at Creagorry today.
3rd December:
South Uist: The drake Lesser Scaup is still on Loch Dobhrain.
2nd December:
North Uist: A juvenile Iceland Gull was at Balranald today.
South Uist: A Little Egret was at Clachan at the north end of Loch Bee this afternoon.
1st December:
North Uist: A drake American Wigeon was at Loch Aileodair this morning.
Barra: The Surf Scoter was seen from Ardmhor ferry terminal today.
