31st December:
North Uist: A Fieldfare was at Scolpaig.
South Uist: The Brambling is still in South Glendale.
30th December:
North Uist: A drake Green-winged Teal and 3 Coots are on Loch Sandary.
South Uist: The Brambling is still in South Glendale. A Little Egret flew south over Askernish machair and a few Fieldfare were in the area.
Barra: 17 Snow Buntings and a juvenile Iceland Gull were at Traigh Mhor. A Fieldfare was in Northbay.
29th December:
Lewis: A 2nd winter Iceland Gull and 3rd winter Glaucous Gull were at Tiumpan head this morning.
South Uist: A Little Egret was near Hebridean Jewellery this morning.
28th December:
Lewis: An adult Glaucous Gull was at Tiumpan Head this morning.
North Uist: The Crane is still on Borve machair, Berneray with good numbers of Snow Buntings which were widely scattered.
Benbecula: A Little Egret was at Loch Mor and a Black-tailed Godwit at Coot Loch.

27th December:
Lewis: An adult Iceland Gull was at Tiumpan Head mid-afternoon.
North Uist: 2 Glaucous Gulls and an Iceland Gull were at Rubh Arnal.
South Uist: An adult Iceland Gull flew north at Ardvule this morning. 8 Greenland White-fronted Geese were at Askernish.
Barra: An Iceland Gull was at Traigh Mhor. A 2nd winter Glaucous Gull and 3 Iceland Gulls were at Ardveenish.
26th December:
North Uist: The Crane is still on Berneray; also an adult Glaucous Gull and 300+ Snow Buntings on the machair at Borve.
South Uist: The Brambling is still in South Glendale.
Barra: A 2nd winter Glaucous Gull and juvenile Iceland Gull are at Ardveenish. A Lapland Bunting flew south over Scurrival. 135 Long-tailed Ducks are off Craigston.

Lewis: 8 Snow Buntings were in Ness this morning.
Benbecula: A Little Egret is at Loch Mor.
South Uist: A Little Egret flew south over Askernish early afternoon.

24th December:
Lewis: 7 Snow Buntings were in Ness today.
North Uist: The Snow Goose and Crane were showing well on Berneray today. An Iceland Gull, Glaucous Gull, 52 Brent Geese and a Lapland Bunting were at Rubh' Arnal.
South Uist: The Brambling is still in South Glendale. The Little Egret was at Loch Liana na Moire, Frobost.
Barra: 2 Iceland Gulls and 22 Snow Buntings are on the island.
23rd December:
Benbecula: A Little Egret was at Loch Mor.
South Uist: At Ardvule this morning a southerly movement of 6 Gannets, 2 Fulmars, 4 Great Northern Divers, 4 Red-throated Divers, 6 Long-tailed Duck, 3 Eiders, 1 Goldeneye, 29 Kittiwakes and 3 Razorbills. A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on the machair at Kildonan today.

22nd December:
Lewis: 3 Pink-footed Geese were in Garrabost today.
North Uist: A pale-bellied Brent Goose was in with Barnacle Geese at Balranald this morning and at least 1 Snow Bunting was flying about at the south end.
South Uist: A Brambling is in South Glendale.

21st December:
North Uist: The adult Glaucous Gull was by Loch Paible again this morning.
South Uist: The Little Egret was on Loch na Liana Moire, Frobost.
20th December:
Lewis: An adult Glaucous Gull was at Tiumpan Head in the afternoon.
North Uist: An adult Iceland Gull roosted on Baleshare last night and was seen leaving this morning; also 17 pale-bellied Brent Geese and a drake Pintail there. An adult Glaucous Gull was near Loch Paible. 4 Pintail were on Loch nam Feithean.
South Uist: The Little Egret is still at Loch Liana Moire, Frobost.
Barra: Juvenile Iceland Gulls were at Ardveenish and Traigh Mhor; also 58 Brent Geese at the latter site.
Marine Sightings: 6 Orcas hunting off Tiumpan Head in the afternoon; also 4 Humpback Whales seen there around same time.
19th December:
Lewis: 2 Little Auks were reported off Tiumpan Head. A Brambling was in Shulishader.
18th December:
Lewis: A 3rd winter Iceland Gull was at Tiumpan Head at midday.
North Uist: The Snow Goose, Crane and around 350 Snow Buntings were on Borve machair, Berneray. The American Wigeon was at Loch an Duin. A Chiffchaff was in Lochmaddy.
South Uist: A Little Egret was at Loch Liana Moire, Frobost.
Marine Sightings: A couple of Harbour Porpoise were off Rushgarry, Berneray this morning.

17th December:
Benbecula: A Little Egret was at Loch Fada and another on adjacent Loch Mor; also a 2nd winter Iceland Gull on Loch Mor before heading to Stinky Bay.
South Uist: 128+ Greenland White-fronted Geese and 41 Barnacle Geese were west of Loch Bee. 2 Lapland Buntings were at Kilaulay. A Little Egret was at Loch Hallan.

Lewis: 2 Iceland Gulls (an adult and near adult) plus 4 Snow Buntings were at Tiumpan Head.
North Uist: The drake American Wigeon is still on Loch an Duin. 6 Snow Buntings were at the north end of Baleshare.
Benbecula: 2 Little Egrets were at Loch Mor.
Barra: 2 Iceland Gulls were at Ardveenish. A Coal Tit was at Nasg.

North Uist: A drake American Wigeon was on Loch an Duin by the Loch Portain turning today. 2 Iceland Gulls and 5 pale-bellied Geese were at Rubh' Arnal.
14th December:
Benbecula: A Little Egret flew west over the road at Creagorry today.
South Uist: An adult Iceland Gull flew south at Ardvule this morning.
13th December:
Lewis: The Firecrest is still in Linshader.
North Uist: An Iceland Gull, Glaucous Gull and Lapland Bunting were at Rubh' Arnal today.
Barra: A Hawfinch was seen in Brevig this morning. A juvenile Iceland Gull and 2nd winter Glaucous Gull are at Ardveenish. 93 Brent Geese are at Traigh Mhor.
12th December:
North Uist: 3 Coots are still on Loch Sandary.
11th December:
Lewis: A Slavonian Grebe was off the Braighe today.
Benbecula: 2 Little Egrets were at Loch Mor early afternoon.
South Uist: A female Common Scoter flew south at Ardvule this morning. A Little Egret was by Hebridean Jewellery.

10th December:
North Uist: A 2nd winter and juvenile Iceland Gull and a juvenile Glaucous Gull were at Rubh' Arnal this morning; also 5 Snow Buntings flew over.
Benbecula: A female Pintail was at Borve Point.
South Uist: 6 Snow Buntings were at Askernish.

9th December:
North Uist: The Crane (please click for video) is still at Borve Berneray and a flock of at least 280 Snow Buntings were on the machair there; also 2 were at Rushgarry by the hostel.
Benbecula: A Little Egret was on Loch Mor; also 3 Greenland White-fronted Geese between there and Nunton.
South Uist: A juvenile Glaucous Gull flew north at Ardvule this morning and 166 Purple Sandpipers were present. 70 Snow Buntings were at Peninerine. A Little Egret was at the north-west end of Loch Bee from Ardkenneth; also 53 Greenland White-fronted Geese there and 45 Barnacle Geese on Ardivachar machair. A juvenile Glaucous Gull was at Balgarva. A hyrbid Glaucous Gull is on the Range; also 40 Snow Buntings there.
Barra: A juvenile Iceland Gull was at Ardveenish. A Juvenile Glaucous Gull and 27 Snow Buntings were at Traigh Eas.

Lewis: A Sooty Shearwater was reported heading past Tiumpan Head at midday.
South Uist: A Snow Bunting was at Ardvule. 60+ Snow Buntings were at Peninerine. A juvenile Glaucous Gull was on Bornish machair. A Little Egret was at Loch Hallan. A Coot is on Eilean nan Ramh, Daliburgh.

Barra: A immature Glaucous Gull was at Craigston today.

South Uist: A Little Egret was at Eilean nan Ramh, Daliburgh.
5th December:
North Uist: A drake Pintail is on Baleshare.
South Uist: 4 Snow Buntings and 260 Twite were at Ardvule.
Barra: A Glaucous Gull was at Ardveenish today.

4th December:
Lewis: A drake Goosander and 8 Goldeneye were on Loch Branahuie this morning. 2 Glaucous Gulls (an adult and near adult) were seen at Tiumpan Head this afternoon.
North Uist: The drake Green-winged Teal and 3 Coots are on Loch Sandary. A juvenile Glaucous Gull, juvenile and 2nd winter Iceland Gull, 2 Lapland Buntings, 2 Snow Buntings and 4 Brent Geese were in the Rubh' Arnal area.
Barra: 145 Long-tailed Ducks are off Craigston.
Marine Sightings: A dead Sperm Whale has been washed up on the west side of Berneray.

3rd December:
Lewis: 25 Snow Buntings are at the Lionel end of Cross / Skigersta.
North Uist: 3 Snow Buntings were on Baleshare. A Chiffchaff was in Lochmaddy (near the pier). The Crane is still on Berneray and at least 80 Snow Buntings were on the machair at Borve.

North Uist: A juvenile Iceland Gull, juvenile Glaucous Gull and 4 pale-bellied Brent Geese were at Rubh' Arnal.
South Uist: A Little Egret was on the South Ford by Hebridean Jewellery this morning. 20 Barnacle Geese were on the machair at Ardivachar.
1st December:
Lewis: An adult Glaucous Gull and an adult Iceland Gull were at Tiumpan Head. An adult Glaucous Gull was also on the Braighe this morning. 2 Snow Buntings were in Ness.
North Uist: A Snow Bunting flew south over Carinish this morning. The Crane and the Snow Goose are still on Berneray; 40 Snow Buntings are also present. The drake Green-winged Teal is on Loch Sandary. A Chiffchaff was at Balranald.
South Uist: The American Golden Plover is still at Boisdale. A Little Egret is at Loch Liana Moire. 45 Snow Buntings are at Ardvule.
